haha prom day (i.e. 3days ago) was really a whole lot of travelling up and down
hehe quite proud that i didn't succumb to the cabbing bug as much as i would have liked to
gosh the day went something like this
930am woke up to have breakfast, pack stuff and shower
1130am left the house to get to Ritz for a sound check
1230pm reached Ritz
115pm left for hair and makeup appointment
210pm reached Yishun
325pm left Yishun to go back to Ritz
415pm reached the Ritz (by BUS! haha apparently bus service 857 from Yishun stops opp the Ritz) and people start to trickle in
545pm dressed up and ready to go as everyone around me starts to piece their ensemble together (haha 15mins b4 jokoh hadn't even started on make up yet)
630pm started to slowly get a move on down though i think we might have been a lil later
haha then it was MAJOR camwhoring, somewhat eating a 8 course chinese dinner served western style and the performances also of course the singing of the school anthem to kinda mark the end of the whole event and our 2 yrs
11pm (i think) that's when pp started streaming up the room to get changed for postprom
1245am (or thereabout) DXO
4am headed back to the hotel room
430am++ got chased out cuz of the noise so those who were gone were given sleeping priority while most of the rest of us hung around marina square, talked n i ate cup noodles ^-^
540am made our way back (technically it was almost the next day)
600am-ish long hot shower
645am-ish sleep
1130am woke up to freshen up and prepare for check out
1210pm marina square lunch
120pm left for home
215pm reached home
230pm sleep again
haha i think my mum forced me 2 wake up at 730pm (6th Dec) insisting that i have dinner and then i fell asleep again at about midnight.
haha so yes, to keep your life busy go for proms
despite the hassle and the disappearance of $$ from my acc i had fun pre, during and post prom
i think for the large part of it, it's cause it was an experience with friends ^-^
