k the previous entry didnt do justice to the South Africa experience..haha but hey i had terms..so anyway since terms r over..i'll blog more abt the experience that is South Africa...
i believe everything happens for a reason..
South Africa not excluded
it's amazing how life works it's lil wonders around u to make u see what u already see and know what u already know
and in a span of one week ive learnt so many things (more than juz the name of lights n cables) and relearnt many things ive forgotten..
South Africa had to happen to me
and im glad it did
it's definitely a memory i'll hold dear
therefore i say
South Africa was AWESOME
haha on another note..when we touched down in Singapore i mentioned to kass how the world seems so connected everywhere seems like everywhere, like how a plane ride juz seems like an extended bus ride..
on the truck back to sch,i looked out the back of the truck at the signs and the surroundings and i compared it to the view from the bus along a highway in South Africa..the difference is so huge u can't begin to compare..and yet the feeling was the same..
that's how i felt last yr in Thailand as well..
n i think i know y..it's cuz somethings need to b appreciated slowly..bit by bit..like the star-dotted sky in South Africa
haha k maybe it's cuz im slow but i guess i need time to soak up the surroundings b4 i really grasp the reality of a place to feel it for what it is
don't get me wrong..i LOVE South Africa to bits..haha it's juz that with globalisation (i.e. Mac, KFC) it does really seem that everywhere is everywhere else
hehe oh well c'est la vie
