sometimes when people think of love
they think of wham bam alakazam
they think of glizt and glamour
sparks flying all over the land
but what happened to the simple things
like enjoying the summer breeze
or sitting by the water day-dreaming
or just listening to music over the phone
without a care about tomorrow
but life is like what is it now
our frowns we take them round and round
and we forget this thing called love
haha dont get me wrong..im not becoming a major softie..i just got tired of doing hmwrk n was looking back on how naive i was when i was in sec1 thinking that love was indeed some wham bam alakazam thingy n that im older (though ppl tell me not necessarily more mature..hehe..) i guess that's not so impt..k im getting goose-pimply now..i dun usually blog abt such stuff cuz basically a)im only 17 (ie still a kid) b)4 yrs later i'll probably look back on this sorta entries and think 'what a loser'..haha im serious..was packing my cupboard juz nw (hehe..yes i do make and effort to try and be tidy) n i found a self-intro thingy they made us do in sec1..boy did i sound dumb..
haha oh went out w/ jas,kenneth,pj n weber ytd..kenneth la..kp complaining that his life is boring..hehe so went to play pool..haha havent seen them in ages..wanted to go for sushi buffet aft that but there was no more buffet thingy..*sobz* haha oh well so we went to pizza hut instead..hehe as usual kenneth was making mean jokes abt ppl..but i guess there's no intended malice..haha i think that's juz his way of having fun..went to WRL aft that for poetry slam clinic..caught up w/ jas on the bus ride there..haha he'll always be my pally..anyway,poetry slam was cute..hehe..i think we shd do sth like that for Arts Wk nxt yr ^-^..haha oh n aft the thingy went w/ the other ac peeps to mac (hehe though kass violently protested)..yi jun kept freaking me out w/ the shoulder tapping thing la..haha think the lady behind me in the queue must have thought i was mad when i turned around and stared at her thinking she was the one who tapped my shoulder..
anyway,watched oprah a couple days ago..found it really sad but in a way inspirational cuz the ppl on the show have really traumatic experiences and yet they are brave enough to fight those demons and share their pain with the world, hoping that someone out there going through the same torment will be able to seek help or feel better..and in an earlier epi,oprah was making the wildest dreams of some less priviledged ppl come true..it was so touching and heart-warming when the evil many ppl refer to as money can bring so much gd and happiness to the lives of ppl..yeah oprah's cool ^-^
