wow..it's been so long since i blogged it...
oh but wrote this (the whole load of stuff above) sometime back but could only post it up now cuz my com died on me previously..ya...
anywayz,im all smiles now..why?cuz today's SI was a double joy for me.Sly sounded great,and he did a Jay song which was even better..i know i may be biased and all but seriously i was moved when i heard his rendition of An Jing. It almost had the same feel of listening to Jay himself (hehe). I agree with what Florence Lian said.He'll be in the finals.
I believe all the idols are already winners in one way or another but im putting my money on Sly and Taufik being in the finals..and to think i thought in the beginning that it would be a more feminine race..but oh well..im not complaining ^-^
I think if Sly and Taufik are the eventual finalists, it would work out best for Singapore.Even if Singapore never makes her mark on the international music scene,we would have 2 of the most brilliant regional artistes.Sly can always go Mandopop and Taufik can conquer M'sia and Indonesia.Aint that the best of both worlds?
But for now im juz keeping my fingers crossed and hope that Sly won't be out voted..although i know he doesnt lack support,life is juz that unpredictable...
Oh well..gotta get back 2 my books..still have papers to sit for next week...
